The Wasp DR6 Android is a rugged mobile computer, featuring a long-range barcode reading distance of up to 10 feet as well as multi-scan functionality that allows users to scan 10 barcodes simultaneously. The user interface features a multi-touch capacitive touch screen 6.3” color LCD with 2160x1080 high resolution display. Both 1D and 2D barcodes can be scanned directly or while displayed on a smartphone screen. The Wasp DR6 features a 5MP front camera and 16MP (PDAF) rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus function, with support for Google ARcore. ARCore is Google's augmented reality SDK offering cross-platform APIs to build new immersive experiences. User-friendly features to maximize productivity include a true hot-swap battery without downtime, an ergonomic handle design for long time use with a durable trigger key, and fingerprint technology which enables users to unlock the device with ease. The Wasp DR6 is offered with Android 12 OS with Google Mobile Service (GMS) certification and AER (Android Enterprise Recommended). The device is powered by an advanced 64-bit octa-core CPU (2.7GHz) with 6GB RAM and 64GB UFS Flash. Its internal components are protected by a ruggedized housing that is sealed against water and dust (IP67 and IP65 rated), and capable of resisting multiple 5 feet drops to concrete.
